A Pint of Whistler Black Tusk Ale at Subeez

First of all, I really like Subeez. They have a fun, hip, yet unpretentious atmosphere and crazy cool décor (large statues and giant candelabras with impressively massive wax drippings).
Until recently, I always avoided darker beers, associating them with a extremely malty, heavy taste. These days, the more I try, the more I like. This craft beer is surprising light and refreshing despite its deep, dark colour and hits your palate with extremely subtle flavour notes of chocolate and coffee.
A nice winter beer in a cool, cozy pub (with sweet Jesus candles).
